I had expected the ballet version of The Wrestler. But it wasn’t meant to be. This is quite psycho in it’s approach, psycho as in psychological and almost horror levels. Definitely wouldn’t watch this again. It’s a bit painful because you don’t really care for any of the characters. Natalie Portman is a crazy, obsessive who has an equally nutty mother. And funny enough, the only character worth liking is Mila Kunis who plays someone very similar to her own personality.

Most definitely, my least favorite Aronofsky film.
