Coco Chanel & Igor Stravinsky
★★
Creator: Jan Kounen
Year: 2009
There’s obviously going to be comparisons between this film and Coco Before Chanel. Whereas that film concentrated more towards her beginnings, this is really just about her relationship with Igor Stravinsky. It’s a bit slow and maybe some of the scenes are too French in terms of how society behaved back then. But the best part of this film was Anna Mouglalis‘s performance as Coco. Her body movements and self-confidence were incredible and brought Audrey Tautou‘s Coco to shame.
