Even with its simple premise, this is how you do a summer blockbuster. Tony Scott is the master of timing and this film truly delivers. People will always compare it to his remake of Pelham 123, since it stars his muse Denzel, but this was so much better. There’s literally no plot: a train runs away and two workers decide to try and stop it.  That’s it. I can’t even imagine how you would pitch such a film. But kudos to Tony Scott for making a mindless, entertaining film.
